A graduate from the european theatre arts course at rose bruford college of speech and drama, alexander approaches performance from a variety of different perspectives; EVERYTHING FROM CONTEMPORARY PHYSICAL PERFORMANCE TO TRADITIONAL MUSIC HALL CABARET, SHAKESPEARE TO STREET DANCE AND OPERETTA TO RITUAL THEATRE.
PRACTICE
From his broad range of training, Alexander has developed an approach to art and performance which is open minded, multi disciplinary and inclusive.
As a student of art, music, theatre, dance and literature it is clear that Alexander has collated a range of skills that make up the jig-saw of his artistic practice - a practice that grows due to his constant endeavour to collaborate with new ensembles and work with new disciplines, creating a collage of styles, forms and trainings.
Alexander has a desire to create art which is accessible to many, captures the imagination and pushes people to step outside their comfirt zone and think outside the box.
..
His inspiration comes from far and wide. Tim Walker, Mia Michaels, Marcel Marceau, Melanie Moore, Renee Magritte, Robert Wilson, Marina Abramovitch, David Bowie etc.
